Who is WWA?
Established in 1983, Wisconsin Waterfowl Association is a dedicated group of men and women, consisting of both sportsmen and conservationists alike, who are working hard to restore and conserve Wisconsin's wetland resources and waterfowl. Over 1/2 of Wisconsin's original 10 million acres of wetlands have been lost!!! This is due, in part, to the draining, ditching, restorable alteration, and, sadly at times, the complete irreversible destruction of wetlands for agricultural, residential, and commercial purposes. WWA is also dedicated to the implementation of educational programs for Wisconsin's youth that raise awareness of our state's limited wetlands and other natural resources, and to the promotion of legislation that protects those natural resources and Wisconsin citizen's rights to hunt and fish.
